Admitted Children and Young Patients Survey

This survey asks children aged 0–17 years who have been admitted to a NSW public hospital, or their parents, to share their experiences of care.

The results of the 2018 survey reflect the experiences of 3,086 children and young people who were admitted to one of three public specialist paediatric hospitals in in NSW: John Hunter Children’s Hospital; Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick; or The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

BHI collects and reports on these experiences so that healthcare professionals and system managers can use the results to see where services are performing well and where there is room to improve.
