New South Wales and the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022

This report provides insights into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the public healthcare system in NSW from 2020 to 2022, examining activity and performance, including patients' experiences, across multiple sectors of the healthcare system. Areas of focus include ambulance services; emergency departments; admitted patients; elective surgery; virtual care; and all-cause mortality and mortality within 30 days of admission to hospital.
