New South Wales and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020

BHI’s latest Healthcare in Focus report provides insights into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the public healthcare system in NSW during 2020. It examines patterns of activity and performance throughout the year, looking at measures including timeliness of care, patients’ experiences, and COVID-19 cases and testing numbers. The report focuses on emergency departments, elective surgery, admitted patients and ambulance services.

This Healthcare in Focus report features many of the measures previously included in the COVID-19 Supplement published with the past three issues of Healthcare Quarterly.
