New South Wales and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021

BHI’s latest Healthcare in Focus report provides insights into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the NSW healthcare system during 2021. It examines patterns of activity and performance throughout the year, focusing on community-based healthcare services, emergency departments, elective surgery, admitted patients and ambulance services. It includes insights at NSW level, and for metropolitan, and rural and regional areas. Further measures are also reported to provide domestic and international context, including COVID-19 cases, vaccination and testing numbers.
