Rural Hospital Adult Admitted Patient Survey 2019–20

Released: 9 June 2021

The Rural Hospital Adult Admitted Patient Survey 2019–20 results reflect the experiences of 4,487 adult patients who were admitted to one of 98 small, rural public hospitals in NSW from July 2019 to June 2020. Results are available at hospital, local health district and NSW levels.

This survey includes questions specific to healthcare in rural and regional areas and replaces BHI's Small and Rural Hospitals Survey, last conducted in 2016.

A Snapshot report shows key findings for nine questions, including variation between hospitals.
