Rural Hospital Emergency Care Patient Survey
The Rural Hospital Emergency Care Patient Survey asks for feedback from people who have recently received emergency care in one of the smaller NSW public hospitals, typically in rural locations.
We send surveys to approximately 25,000 people who attended these facilities for emergency care.
The 2019 results reflect the experiences of more than 6,000 patients who received emergency care from one of 65 small, rural public hospitals between January and April 2019.
Prior to mid-2019, the Rural Hospital Emergency Care Patient Survey was known as the Small and Rural Emergency Department Patient Survey.
