New Chair of Bureau Health Information Board welcomed
The Chief Executive of the Bureau of Health Information (BHI), Dr Jean-Frederic Levesque, today welcomed the recent appointment of Professor Carol Pollock as Chair of the BHI Board.
Professor Pollock, who has been a member of the BHI Board since May 2016, has an international reputation and extensive experience as a clinician, researcher, lecturer, mentor and advocate.
"Carol has held important clinical leadership positions which will benefit the Bureau of Health Information as we expand our reporting in the coming 12 months," Dr Levesque said.
Professor Pollock’s previous leadership roles include inaugural Chair of the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation, Chair of the Clinical Excellence Commission, inaugural Chair of the Northern Sydney Local Health District Board and Director of Kidney Health Australia since 2014.
