Healthcare Quarterly
April to June 2026
Each quarter, BHI reports on activity and performance for emergency department, elective surgery, admitted patient and ambulance services in NSW.
NSW-level results are presented in our Healthcare Quarterly reports. Explore the data in depth – including for individual hospitals, local health districts (LHDs) and local areas for ambulance – using the BHI Data Portal and other data tools.

NSW Health is transitioning to the Single Digital Patient Record which is providing a full picture of a person’s health information in one secure system. During the transition, there will be temporary interruptions to the centralised data BHI uses for public reporting. For more information on the impact on this Healthcare Quarterly, see here.
