Emergency Department Patient Survey results

Jul 2024 – Jun 2025 NSW

This report compares the experiences of the 11,063 patients who attended rural EDs (peer groups B and C) and the 12,558 patients who attended urban EDs. The EDPS main report and supplementary data tables include NSW level comparisons of patients who attended rural EDs and the patients who attended urban EDs. Individual rural hospital results can also be searched for in the BHI Data Portal, data tables and Hospital performance page.

Adult Admitted Patient Survey results

2024 NSW

This report compares the experiences of 11,924 patients admitted to rural public hospitals (peer groups B and C) and 13,734 in urban hospitals. Results can also be searched for individual rural hospitals, including in the data tables, Hospital performance page and BHI Data Portal.

This report reflects the experiences of 4,487 adult patients who were admitted to one of 98 small, rural public hospitals in NSW from July 2019 to June 2020.
