Mortality

Mortality following hospitalisation for seven clinical conditions

Results show whether the number of deaths within 30 days of admission to NSW public hospitals was higher than expected, lower than expected, or no different than expected. Results are based on a comparison of each hospital’s actual number of deaths with the expected number, taking into account the types of patients (case mix) it treats. For more details, see the latest report.
