Virtual Care Survey

This survey asks people about their experiences of virtual care appointments with NSW public hospital outpatient clinics. Patients who also had a virtual care appointment with a general practitioner in the 12 months prior to completing the survey provided additional feedback about those experiences.

Virtual care appointments are held over the telephone or by video call, using any form of communication or information technologies, rather than in person.

The survey has run annually since 2020 and is in the field for 1–2 months each year. See current questionnaires in the field here.
